CB Insights: here are the insurances which are investing more on IoT

The data analysis company has mapped the commitments of the major companies on startups that have developed projects in the Internet of Things. Here are the most active and the choices that have made

According CB Insights, four companies stand out among the others for scoring at least three investment each in as many statup of the internet of things: AXA Strategic Ventures, AmFam Ventures, MunichRe / HSB Ventures and USAA.

Among the investments in the table we report in particular:

– that of AmFam Ventures in RING startup IoT we mentioned in this article: the last funds were collected just from starup last March closing a deal for more than 61 million dollars;

– Metromile, innovative startups for car insurance that charges the policy on the basis of kilometers traveled;

– Helium, startup that develops sensors for IoT industry, which raised $ 20 million in April from a consortium led by GV (formerly Google Ventures) and including MunichRE
